Carl Herman Elliott

Carl Herman Elliott, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Carl was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend to everyone. He was a retired Army veteran who served his country in the Vietnam War with his brother Ray. He enjoyed raising his coy pond and crossword puzzles every morning. Carl will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on April 11, 1940 in Corbin, Kentucky to Tommie and Thelma (Shore) Elliott. He is preceded in death by his Father, Tommie Elliott, Mother, Thelma Elliott, Wife, Margaret G. Elliott, Son, Thomas Elliott, and Brother, Carson Ray Elliott.

Carl is survived by his family, Sister, Virginia Ruth Elliott; Friend, Mark Lee Casey, Jr.; Children, Patricia Elliott and Carl Elliott, Jr., as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
