Carey Lynn Brown

Carey Lynn Brown, 69, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

He was born on November 8, 1956 in Corydon, Indiana to the late Basil and Olive (Byrd) Brown. In addition to his parents, Carey was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Hallmark.

Carey is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Susan (Lyninger) Brown; his sons, Ryan Brown (Jennifer), Tyler Brown; his grandchildren, Cosette, Waylon, Gwyneth; and his brother, Anthony Brown (Mavis).

According to Carey's wish, he will be laid to rest privately at Union Chapel Cemetery in Milltown, Indiana.
