Calvin Logsdon

Calvin Logsdon, age 68 of Simpsonville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026.  He was born in Clarkson, Kentucky on September 24, 1957 to the late Curley Bill Logsdon and Annetta Jean (Hodge) Logsdon Wagner.  Calvin graduated from Western High School in Louisville, Ky., class of 1975 and attended Westminster Choir College in New Jersey.  He was a career salesperson in commercial construction and hardware.  Calvin was an avid UK fan, lover of classical music, a gardening enthusiast and an amateur meteorologist.  

In addition to his parents, Calvin is preceded in death by his son, Joshua Michael Logsdon.

Calvin leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 47 years, Jennifer Chapman Logsdon; son Corey Logsdon; grandson, Joshua Michael Logsdon, II; three siblings, Keith Logsdon (Sherry), Debbie Day and Nathan Wagner; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 1pm to 6pm on Sunday, January 18, 2026 and on Monday, January 19th from 9:30am to 11am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.  A celebration of Calvin's life will be 11am Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at 2:30pm Eastern Time (1:30pm Central) at Center Point Cemetery (Logsdon Family Cemetery) Munfordville, KY.
