Matthews, Cletra Evelyn (Davis),72 passed away September 22. She was born on September 10, 1938 in Monroe County, KY and was a Baptist by faith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Oletta Morrea Davis. She is survived by her sons, Arlie (Dorene); and Ernie; daughter, Marrea; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and family friend, Patty Bishop.
Funeral Ceremony Sunday 4PM at Newcomer Funeral Home 235, Juneau Drive with visitation after 1PM. Burial Monday in Evergreen Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Hosparus for their comfort and kindness extended during her illness. In lieu of flowers, the family request expression be made to Hosparus or American Cancer Society in Evelyn's memory.
