Butch Pace, 71, passed away on January 17, 2015. He enjoyed playing the guitar, chess, cards, reading and socializing with his many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Calvin Pace and Mary Aline Weathers; brothers, John A. Weathers, Robert W. Weathers and David C. Weathers; grandmother, Anna Faulkerson and his best friend, Paul Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Veda McLaughlin; son, Greg Pace; daughter, Rachel Pace; grandchildren, James M. Stinnett, Kayla M. Stinnett, Chase Kincaid and Chris Koons; great-grand-daughter, Eva Stinnett; brothers, Joseph Weathers, Randy Weathers, Gary Pace; sister, Joyce Borden; numerous nieces and nephews and aunt, Joyce Gast.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) from 2pm-8pm. A celebration of Butch's life will be Friday, January 23, 2015, at 1pm at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.
Interement will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY.
