Buford Clint Meeks Jr.

Buford Clint "B.C." Meeks Jr., 84, of Louisville, KY passed away on July 24, 2016. B.C. was a retired Vice President of Whayne Supply Company, Executive Director of Kentucky Association of Highway Contractors, and a member of Southeast Christian Church. He was a loving family man who was the most giving and kind-hearted person. He was quick with a smile, a kind word and caring spirit. His joy for life will be missed by many.

B.C. was the son of the late Buford C. Meeks Sr. and Ruby Deel Meeks. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Sara J. Meeks; and by his sisters, Helen Woodard and Juanita Chaffin.

B.C. is survived by his daughter, Kim Bostic (Bill) of Gallatin, TN; a grandson, Benjamin Bostic of Nashville, TN; sisters, Carolyn Tassie (Tim) of Lexington, KY, Camilla Hoffman of Bowling Green, KY, and Shirley Decker (Bill) of Boise, ID.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 27th, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Louisville East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) and from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, July 28th, 2016 at Southeast Christian Church (920 Blakenbaker Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40243). His Funeral Ceremony in Louisville will be at 12:00 pm following visitation at the church on Thursday. Visitation will also be at J.C. Kirby & Sons Funeral Home (820 Lovers Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42103) on Friday, July 29th, 2016 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. His Funeral Ceremony in Bowling Green will be at 12:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, KY.
