Bryan James Johnson, 34, passed away at his home in the early hours of August 6th, 2018.
He is survived by his parents James and Helena Johnson, Stacey and Terry McGhee, Son Gaberial Johnson, MeMaw, Carol Finnell, Brother, David Dake, Fiance, Pam Osterhout, Faithful Companion ChiChi, and a host of extended family and friends.
A loving Father, Son, and Friend, Bryan was an avid gamer and tech enthusiast. Bryan loved to take his son, Gabe (Goober), to the movies and arcade. He had a passion for animals and participated in animal rescues. As a child he always had compassion for wounded animals and would want to help them. He will be forever loved and missed by all his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 3 to 8 PM at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society, 1000 Lyndon Lane, Suite B, Louisville KY 40222.
In memory of Bryan, family and friends are encouraged to wear their favorite superhero or Star Wars t-shirt to the funeral on Thursday.
