Bruce Wayne Roof, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021.
He was born on January 26, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Norman and Virginia (Langley) Roof . He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Roof, his brother, Clifford Roof and grandparents. Bruce was a private man to most. For those that knew and loved him, he will always be remembered as a hard worker; he was a Superintendent for elevated water towers. His job allowed him to travel and see so many places in his career. Bruce also had a love for all animals; but especially his bearded dragon, Baby, who went everywhere with him. When Bruce had free time he enjoyed cooking, riding his Harley and renovating his home.
Bruce is survived by his loving mother, Virginia Roof, sister , Jennifer Barley, nephew, Christopher Barley, nephew, Austin Barley and his niece, Sydney Barley.
The family requests that contributions in Bruce 's memory be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
