Bruce Edward Miles

Bruce Edward Miles, age 52 of Louisville, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020. He was a brake press operator for Padgett, Inc. and a graduate of St. Xavier High School. He was an avid UofK Fan and horsetrack lover. He was a Catholic by faith and attended St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother, Doris J. Miles; and his niece, M'Lynn Miles.

Bruce is survived by his loving family, father, George O. Miles; siblings, Connie R. Sutton (Isadore, Sr.), Gordon S. Miles, George Steven Miles (Karen), Karen Cawthon (Ben) and Mark Miles (Cheryle); 11 cherished nieces and nephews, Cassandra, Victoria, Meaghan, Chambers, Steven Wade, Chelsea, Ashley, Rachael, Sarah, Leah and Jonas; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2 to 8 pm on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243 (in Middletown) and also on Saturday, January 11th from 10 am until 12:15 pm. A Mass of Celebration will be 1 pm Saturday, January 11th at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road Louisville, KY, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the Kentucky Humane Society.
