Brian Riggs, beloved son, brother, and friend, went to be with his Lord and savior on July , 2026. Born on February 25,1986, in Louisville, Ky, Brian’s life was marked by deep kindness, unwavering faith, and a thoughtful spirit that touched all who knew him.

Brian was the treasured son of Joe and Betty Riggs, and a caring sibling to his sister, Cindy Riggs, and his brother, Mike Riggs, nephew Tyler Butler and nieces Avery and Presley Butler.

A lover of music and an accomplished guitarist, Brian found joy in sharing his talents. His music, much like his temperament, brought peace and happiness to those nearby. Above all, he cherished his time spent with the Lord, which formed the cornerstone of his life. Brian’s faith was central to who he was; he was steadfast in his devotion, frequently prayer for those he knew and loved. His relationship with God was his greatest source of strength and his proudest accomplishment – having found faith and purpose through his spiritual journey. Those privileged to know Brian will remember him as very thoughtful and kind. He had a rare ability to make everyone feel valued, and his considerate nature meant that everybody thought the world of him. His gentle encouragement and compassionate prayers were steadfast for his friends and family alike.

Brian’s passing leaves a profound sense of loss, yet his legacy of love, faith, and kindness endures. He touched countless lives through his generous prayers, his music, and the warmth of his spirit. He is survived by his father Joe Riggs; his mother; Betty Riggs his sister Cindy Riggs and his brother Mike Riggs, and a host of extended family members and friends. Their love for Brian and his memory will remain everlasting.
While we mourn over the loss of Brian’s physical presence on earth, at the same time we rejoice over his salvation. Greater than even the marvel, the wonder, the miracle of a child’s physical birth into this world, the greater marvel is their rebirth when they accept the Lord Jesus Christ. Their eternal life in glory is the greatest gift of all.
