Brian Mercer

Brian Wayne Mercer, 48, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Brian was a kind, loving, and caring young man who left this world way too soon. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone. He was always caring and providing advice to his younger brother and sister when they were growing up. He loved his children so much. His mother, father, brother and sister, his children, and anyone that really knew him will miss him tremendously. We miss you, Brian, and know that God will comfort you forever.

He was born on March 24, 1978 in Louisville, Kentucky to Roger and Iva (Franklin) Mercer. He is preceded in death by his Uncle, Ray Mercer.

Brian is survived by his loving family, Father, Roger Wayne Mercer, Mother, Iva Melinda Mercer, Daughter, Kaitlyn Mercer, Daughter, Gracie Mercer, Siblings, Troy Mercer, Carrie (Keith Wright) Mercer, Nephew, Kole Mercer, Niece, Karma Williams, Aunts, Genia (Ricks) Williams, Laurie (Harold) Helms, Uncle, Roland "Chuck" (Connie) Franklin, Roy "Bubba" (Cindy) Franklin, Ronald (Barbara) Mercer, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory forever.

The family requests that contributions in Brian’s memory be made to Louisville Hosparus or Brown Cancer Center.
