Brian Kent Bayless

Brian Kent Bayless, 67, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. He enjoyed classic cars and going for rides in his convertible. Brian loved spending time outdoors in nature and having a good laugh from an occasional prank.

Brian was an avid fan of any team from Ohio, particularly the Cleveland Browns and Indians, as well as the Cincinnati Bengals. He also enjoyed watching James Bond movies, The Adams Family and true crime series.

A proud native of Akron, Ohio, Brian was born to the late Elson and Lois (Bartley) Bayless on January 7, 1956. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Brent, Kim and Dawn.

Brian is survived by his daughters, Kendall Plamp, Christen Bayless (Charlie), Emily Embrey (Brian); grandchildren, Christopher, Shaun, Venus, Camilla, Lexie, Jordan; great-granddaughter, Kate; brother, Kirk Bayless (Kimmie); sister, Kyra Lyons (Bill); and lifelong friend, Paul Bell.

Brian's wish was to be cremated and a reception of family and friends will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
