Brent Allen Houser

Brent Allen Houser, 53, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022. He was an incredibly talented cook that was capable of creating anything with his own two hands. Brent enjoyed spending time outside, where he showered with the water hose and had several pet squirrels. More than anything, Brent loved his family and adored his girls.

He was born on May 26, 1968 in New Albany, Indiana to Amel Houser and Wilma (Martin) Houser Brown. In addition to his parents, Brent was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffery Houser, Sr..

Brent is survived by his wife, Casey Houser; children, Brentney Houser (Carl McIntosh), Christopher Houser; step-children, Tara Proffitt-Haycraft, Bobbi Akers; siblings, Beth Houser (Todd), Loura Brown (Brad), Sherry Buckman, Deborah Crosier (Edward), Douglas Houser (Hope), Chad Houser; granddaughters, Skylar Houser, Magnolia Jones and Penelope McIntosh; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care.
