Brenda Joyce Tichenor

Brenda Joyce (Lee) Tichenor, 69, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024 surrounded by family.

Brenda was born on August 27, 1954 in New Albany, Indiana. She spent her time throughout her life volunteering at various places such as; Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, a school library assistant, and church organizations. Her hobbies included sewing, making crafts, traveling, and camping.

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Thomas Tichenor; five children; Trinity Tichenor of Borden, Brian Tichenor of Borden, Keith Tichenor of Borden, Krista Finnegan and husband John of Sellersburg, Clinton Tichenor and wife Kaitlyn of Georgetown, IN; grandson, Bennett Tichenor; two sisters, Barbara Ball and husband Charlie, Nancy Townsend and husband Will,and sister-in-law Ethel Lee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and her four-legged companion, Gus. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ernestine Lee, and brother, Robert "Bobby" Lee.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Visitation will continue on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
