Brenda (Sizemore) Pollard, 69, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on March 4, 2016 at her home. She was born on February 5, 1948, in Hazard, Kentucky, to Paul and Verna (Brown) Sizemore. Brenda retired from General Electric Company after many years. She enjoyed gardening , fishing, and singing at church.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Verna (Brown) Sizemore. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, James D. Pollard Sr., children, J.D. Pollard Jr. (Renee), Deneva Tanner (Delbert "Dale"), siblings; Charles Sparkman, Chester Sizemore, Anita Rochner (Ivan), Rusty Sizemore (Vickie), Jean Hume (Larry), 7 grandchildren; David Allen , Hunter Blake, and Kaitlin McKenzie Pollard, Rodney Glenn Waynescott, Jessica Potter, John Franklin Waldrews, Amber Helin, 3 great-grandchildren; Brooklynn Pollard, Mckenzie and Addison Potter.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016, from 2-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her service will be on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 12pm with entombment to follow at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
