Brenda Joyce Saling

Brenda Joyce Saling, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026. Brenda was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved going on weekend fishing trips with her husband and cherished her time with him. She was a good woman who was always there when you needed her. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and her husband surprised her for their anniversary with a trip to see Elvis's house. Brenda will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on December 12, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to Doug and Marie (Viers) Gillim. She is preceded in death by her Father, Doug Gillim, Mother, Marie Gillim, Children, Jimmy Saling, Sandra Saling.

Brenda is survived by her loving Husband of 60 years, Charles Louis Saling, Sr., Children, Jerry Saling, Sherry (Edward Ashby) Saling, Grandchildren, Tiffany, Shawn, Brenda, William, Johnathan, Sarah, Amber, Shannon, Charles, Several great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).
