Brenda Kay Proctor, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 17, 1951 to the late Gobel Nix and Maudie Williams.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Proctor; a son, Larry Lucas, Jr.; siblings, Poe Nix, Carlos Nix, LeRoy Nix, Jimmy Nix and Sam Nix.

Brenda is survived by her beloved daughters, Candy (Dave) Luther and Heather (Chet Kirchner) Proctor; siblings, Barbara Easter, Charles (Margie) Nix, Norman Williams and Rick (Donna) Williams; grandchildren, Robert (Trina) Carroll, Brittney (Nathan) Reid, Darren (Bailee) Proctor, Travis Proctor, Brandon Proctor, Devin Lucas and Breanna Lucas; great-grandchildren, Kailee Reinhardt, Braedyn Vaughn, Trevor Vaughn, Trenton Vaughn, Madilyn Carroll, Braxton Lucas and Baby Reid on the way; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be from 12-6 on Sunday at the funeral home.
