Brenda Mayfield-Ware, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Brenda had a beautiful smile that would light up a room, she had a sweet spirit and gentle soul.

She was born on July 23, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to Lunnie and Azalea (Hall) Mayfield . She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Wendell Mayfield; and sister Linda Moore.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Michael Ware; daughter, DaKisha (Montre) Davis; son, Cietay (Jackie) Mayfield; son, Michael Mayfield; several grandchildren; and a brother Samuel (Angel) Mayfield.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Green Meadows in Louisville, Kentucky.
