Brenda Sue Carpenter Martinez, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on March 15, 2017 after a brief illness. Brenda was born in Gastonia, North Carolina on December 20, 1949 to the late Clyde and Ruby Carpenter. She settled in Louisville after living in Columbia, South Carolina for much of her life. Brenda is survived by two daughters, April Wilson (Sherri Wilson) and Carla Bunting; two grandchildren, Michael Wilson Sr. and Malachi J. Wilson; and five great-grandchildren, Michael Jr., Lilly, Mason, Gracie and Emma Wilson.
