Brenda Kaye (Harrington) Kelley, 68, a selfless and devout Christian, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015. She possessed an artistic mind with a flair for design. Brenda had a sincere heart that was balanced with a kind and helpful nature.
She was born on July 5, 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Frank and Helen (Grimett) Harrington. Brenda was also preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis and John Harrington.
Brenda is survived by her children, Melissa Kelley, Frank Kelley, Jr.; loving companion, Paul Caulfield; siblings, Delmar Harrington, Bob Harrington (Gail), Lila Norris (Billy), Patricia Etheridge, Larry Harrington (Lori); and granddaughter, Olivia Grace Kelley.
Visitation will be 6 PM to 8 PM on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday in the chapel at the funeral home with private entombment to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Brenda had great respect for veterans and was extremely patriotic. The family asks that contributions in her memory be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675).
