Brenda Kay (Tate) McCauley, 61, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. She enjoyed many things in life that included gardening, sewing, as well as baking. Brenda was an animal lover and frequented local yard sales.
She was born on March 9, 1954 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late James Thomas and Georgia Lynn (Burchett) Tate. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Geneva Tate. Brenda is survived by her husband of 19 years, Garry McCauley; sons, Steven Kelly (Beth), John McCauley (Elizabeth); siblings, Marion, William, Billy Joe Tate, Helen Ward, Martha Shuping, Wilma Miller, Roberta Preston, Sue Larison, Marcella Batman; grandson, Cameron McCauley; and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed.
Cremation was chosen following Brenda' wishes and Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society (1201 Story Avenue, Suite 200, Louisville, KY 40206).
