Brenda Kay (Francis) Hyre, 65, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014. She recently retired from the Census Bureau after over 25 years of dedicated service.
Brenda was born on April 3, 1949 in Crawford County, Indiana to the late Oliver and Elsie (Kramer) Francis. She is survived by her sons, David and Hamilton Hyre; and sister, Karen Schotter.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Newcomer (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Luxemburg Cemetery in Oriole, Indiana.
