Brenda Joyce (Fenwick) Slaughter, 61, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in New Albany, Indiana.
Brenda was born on October 26, 1953 in New Albany, Indiana to Joseph William and Nancy Elizabeth (Wright) Fenwick. Brenda worked for city of New Albany for over 30 years. She was a member at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in New Albany, Indiana. Brenda enjoyed going to the casino boat and spending time with her grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Young. She is survived by her children; Stacey Cole-Redding, Tammy Morgan, Brian Slaughter, siblings; Charles Fenwick, James Fenwick, Margaret Smith, and Florence Smith, Rita Fenwick, 6 grandchildren; Tahj Mullins, Hannah Cole, Reagan Long, Brendyn Morgan, Brandyn Morgan, Jagger Russell.
A Memorial visitation will be from 10 AM to 12PM on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with service to follow at 12 PM and burial at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
