Brenda Elizabeth Gaugh

Brenda Elizabeth Gaugh, age 82 of Pendleton, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024. She was born July 6, 1941 to the late Fay M and Jessie Studebaker Gaugh. She was a graduate of both St. Petersburg High School in St. Petersburg, FL. and Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Education. She was a member of Covenant Methodist Church in Lagrange, Kentucky. Brenda was an educator and guidance counselor in the Carroll County School System. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Jon Gaugh.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Everett "Buck" Embs; her children, Will Stout (Sheila) and Andy Stout (Amanda), Gene Embs, Wayne Embs (Kaye), Kay Sapp (Daryl), Mark Embs, Rick Embs, Wanda Metts (Martin); grandchildren, Alex Rottkamp, Katie Guidry (Todd), Gwen Johannsen (Paul), Abby Morgan (Mac) and Eleanor Stout, Contessa Stout and Brennus Stout; sister, Joanna Norris; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 2pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Smithfield Cemetery.
