Brenda "Pretty Lady" Brady, age 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on February 16, 2026. Her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Brenda was a beacon of love and kindness, cherished as a devoted wife, mother, sister, nana, grandma, and friend. She filled her days with joy through singing, dancing, and creating unforgettable moments with her loved ones. With an innate ability to connect with others, Brenda never met a stranger; her warm hugs and infectious smile left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path. The love she shared will continue to resonate through the lives she touched.
Born on August 31, 1950, in Lebanon, Kentucky, Brenda was a cherished daughter of George and Clyde (Smothers) Lawson. She is now reunited with her beloved father, George Lee Lawson, her mother, Clyde Eva Lawson, and her brother, Donald Lawson.
Brenda leaves behind her devoted husband of 59 years, Anthony Brady, and her beloved children: Tony (Crystal) Brady, Jr., Scott (Vanessa) Brady, and Kimberly (Trevor) Brady. She delighted in being a grandmother to Christian, Charles, Mikayla, Cambryn, Josh, and Jordan, and a great-grandmother to Amelia, Oliver, and Grayson. She is also survived by her sister, Phyllis (Richard) Mattingly, her brother, Ricky Lawson, and a loving circle of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A visitation to honor Brenda's life will be held from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). The Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 pm on the same day.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in Brenda's memory to the Kosair Shriners, reflecting her spirit of giving and compassion.
