Hittle, Brandi Auer, 38, passed away on July 30, 2015.
ACT 1: The devoted and beloved wife and mother born Brandi Sue Auer on July 21, 1977 at Fort Campbell, KY to Vernica and Rickey Auer. She was a member of the Westview Assembly of God Church in Hopkinsville until she moved to Louisville then attended Hillview Assembly of God. She graduated from Christian County High School class of 1995. Brandi began her career as a cashier with WalMart in 1994 and retired as an Assistant Manager in 2014.
ACT II: In 2003, Brandi took on a role of a lifetime, as a mother, which she performed perfectly.
ACT III: Brandi began her battle with cancer in 2010 and won the first battle. In 2014 the cancer returned and she fought with all her being. She went home on July 30, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband, David E. Hittle, and children, Evan T., and Olivia P. Thompson, David A.W. and Bethany Hittle all of Louisville; parents, Vernica (Jerry) Peters, Rick (Diane) Auer both of Hopkinsville, KY; siblings, John (Stacey) Hughes of Three Churches, WV, Tara Becker of Columbus, Ohio, Wesley (Christina) Peters of Dawson Spring, KY, Michelle (Justin) Benfield of Kannapolis, NC, Chris Gauthier of Fort Bliss, TX and Jeanne Lowry of Hopkinsville; grandparents, Wanda Hayworth of Hopkinsville, KY and Sharon (Alex) Alexander of Oak Grove, KY; and father-in-law, John W. Hittle, Sr.; brother-in-law, John W. Hittle, Jr.; and countless other family members and friends, and those from the Gilda Club where she found strength and a source of healing.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272), and visitation will resume on Monday, August 3, 2015 from 9 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon at Hillview Assembly of God Church (1408 Hillview Blvd, Louisville, KY), with entombment to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
