Branden L. Tate, 34, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Branden honorably served in the US Marine Corp.

He was born on October 23, 1984 in Louisville, Kentucky to Douglas and Deedra (Francis) Tate. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.

Branden is survived by his mother, Deedra (Scot) Tate, father, Douglas (Rhonda) Tate, brother, Jerimy (Jasmine) Tate, sister, Amanda (Nathan) Shortsle, brother, Nathan Hess, sister, Elizabeth Tate, sister, Samantha Tate, grandfather, John Francis, grandmother, Carol (James) Oney, grandmother, Pam Wilkerson, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a Funeral Service to follow on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Private family inurnment will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Radcliff, KY at a later date.

The family requests that contributions in Branden's memory be made to Wounded Warriors.
