With hearts full of reverence and gratitude for a life well-lived, we remember Bonnie E. Streible, born May 22, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky. On July 20, 2026, Bonnie departed this world, leaving behind a profound legacy of kindness, generosity, and joy—a legacy felt keenly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Bonnie’s journey began in Louisville. Through the years, Bonnie embodied a spirit of selfless giving. She delighted in making others happy, crafting smiles out of ordinary moments, and finding joy in the happiness of those around her.

Much of Bonnie’s professional life was dedicated to Taste of Kentucky, where she worked for several years. Her presence there was not just as an employee, but as a friend and a source of genuine warmth to colleagues and customers alike. The care she showed in her daily work reflected a greater compassion that defined her character.

Along with her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William L. Streible; her cherished son, Terry L. Streible; and her dear brother, Jerry Searcy. Their memories were held close within her heart, guiding her steady compassion for others and her commitment to family.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Juanita Searcy, whose companionship remained a steadfast comfort through the years; her nephews, Joseph Searcy and David Streible, and her cousins, Sandy and Betty.

A graveside service will be held in her honor on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Floydsburg Cemetery, 5600 Old Floydsburg Road, Crestwood, KY 40014.

Let us remember Bonnie E. Streible not only for the milestones she achieved or the challenges she faced, but for the gentle, consistent way she brightened the lives around her. As we gather to pay tribute, we find solace in recalling her generous heart and joyful spirit—a legacy that endures in those she loved and in all who were fortunate enough to call her a friend.
