Bonnie Mae Maple, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Bonnie was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was Christian by Faith, and attended Grace Point Christian Church. Bonnie enjoyed sewing, working on things around the house, and could tinker and fix anything. She loved being in her garden, and taking care of her birds & fish. Bonnie retired after 20 years working for Jefferson County Public Schools as a Plant Operator. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was born on January 3, 1952 in Welches Creek, Kentucky to George and Lois (Phelps) Woods. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Brother, Billy Woods, Sister, Barbara Frost, and Granddaughter, Brianna Miller.
Bonnie is survived by her loving Husband of 42 years Glenon D. Maple, Daughter, Anita G. (Byron) Miller, Son, Jeffrey B Hudson, and Son, Jason T. (Jeanette) Maple, Grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Nick) Leber, Kalea Hudson, Jessica Hudson, Travis (Tonya) Maple, Jacob Miller, and Makenzie Maple, Great-Grandchildren, Noah Collins, and Graysonn Maple, Siblings, Betty (Jim) McFarland, Bobby (Debra) Woods, Brenda (Damon) Gary, Beverly (Carmel) Kidd, Bruce (Marlene) Woods, and Barry Woods. Bonnie also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel with Graveside Services at Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City, KY at 1:00 pm Central Time.
