Bobby Wright, Jr.

Bobby Wright, Jr., also known as "Rusty" age 48 was born on August 21, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky, to Beverly Osborne Joyner. He passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019. Bobby was a fun loving person with a BIG heart. Bobby loved music, dancing, Bingo and the Louisville Cardinals Basketball team. He was a hard-working man and a devoted husband who loved life and his family. Bobby was an employee with sheet metal workers Local 110 located in Louisville, Kentucky for 14 years. He was also a Marine Corps Veteran where he served for 4 years in Operation Desert Storm. He was preceded in death by his father, Mutee Isha "Bobby Wright, Sr.".

Bobby leaves to cherish his memory, his mother; Beverly Joyner, Martha Dobbins Wright, wife of 13 years; 3 children, Amara Ilyse Phelps, D'Andre Wright and Maliik Wright (Jordyn); grandchildren, Kyir Maleak Wright; Grayson Nash Wright, Tyrell Dasau Phelps, Gianni William Dailey, Sayvion Cahmod Trowell, and Payton Sidni Wright; grandparents, Mabel Lovings and Katherine Wright; sisters, Ronda J. Williams, Tamika D. Williams, Cynthia Jones, Selena Russell and Kendra McClury; brothers, Rev. Robert Lyons, Kory Hall, Timothy Lewis, Semion Wright, Frederick, Jonathan, James and Jeffrey Joyner; step-father, John Joyner; step-children, LaKiesha Washington, Nabria "LeAndre" Hobson; step-grandchildren, Stephen Miller, Josiah D. Blackburn, Aniyah Hobson, Phoenix Hobson; a host of Aunties, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 2 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Bobby's life at 4pm.
