Smith, Bobby Dean, Age 74, of Louisville Ky, passed away on April 25th, 2017 at Norton's Brownsboro Hospital.
Bobby was born in Bowling Green Ky, July 20, 1942, the son of Ruth & Edison Hudson. He attended Warren Central High School, Served in United States Navy, then taught at Jeffersontown Vocational School until he retired.
Bobby was a lifelong fisherman and an avid U of L basketball fan. He was a member of Crestwood Baptist
Church in Crestwood Ky. Bobby is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Lucile Meredith Smith, three children, Stephanie Marie (Wayne) Jones of Mt Washington Ky, Lucas Nelson Smith of Louisville Ky and Todd Dean smith of Bowling Green Ky. He has four grandchildren, Ethan Garrett Ernst, Tyler Smith, Shandi Paro and Matthew Harmon. Bobby has one beloved sister, Barbara (Don) Poore of Vernon IN.
There will be a graveside memorial service in Bowling Green Ky, announced at a later date. The family would like to express appreciation and love to special friends who have traveled this journey with them.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Saint Judes Children's Hospital, The Salvation Army or a charity of one's choice.
