Bobby Louis House, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 22, 1937 to the late Louis Theodore and Mary Louise House. He was a retired from Vogt Machine Company, a Air Force veteran and a member of Morningside Baptist Church
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Ray House.
Bobby is survived by his beloved wife, Louise House; children, Sandra Jean (Theodore) Englert, Bobby Louis (Lisa Thompson) House, Jr. and Beverly (Mike Kraus) Coke; step-children, Charles Cothern, Anthony (Donna Walden) Cothern, Roger Cothern, Kathy (Mike) Vittitoe, and Melissa (Wayne) Frazier; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Katie Weber; nephews, Darrell, Jeffrey and David; nieces, Diane, Sissy and Debbie and a host of other family members and friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to his grandson's scholarship fund, David Vittitoe Memorial Scholarship.
