Bobby Head, 82, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on August 8, 2015. Bobby proudly served our country in the Navy during the Korean War. After his service he graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Civil Structural Engineering. He retired from Blount International Limited after more than twenty years of service.
Bobby was born on September 12, 1932 in Rock Mills, Alabama to the late Gaut and Iowa (Mitchum) Head. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Junior Head.
Bobby is survived by his wife of sixty years, Joan Elizabeth (Mulcahy) Head; son, Robert Head (Cristina), daughters; Laura Knudson (Marshall), Diane Neese (Byron), Kimberly Manhard (Michael), eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Bobby is also survived by two brothers; William and James Head, and five sisters; Majorie Llewellyn, Eris Hendricks, Edith Adamson, Joan Marie Lester, and Nancy Hill.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1256 Main Street, Roanoke, AL 36274).
