Bobbie E. Greenwell, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
He was born on April 3, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Frank and Sallie (Duncan) Greenwell. Bobbie retired from the State Fair Board. He will always be remembered for his love of the horse race track; in recent years, he worked for Churchill Downs.
Bobbie is survived by his loving brothers, David (Shelia) Greenwell and Frankie (Ruth) Greenwell, daughters, Natasha Poole, Yovonda Pitney, Elizabeth Pitney Unseld, Tamika Roberts, Sharena Greenwell and Lakeisha Smith, his grandchildren, and his special friend, Iona Braxton.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
