Bob "Smoke" Winston, 76, of Chicago, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013.
Born in Lanett, AL., he was an Army Veteran and retired from the U.S. Department of Education. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Manuel Winston.
Mr. Winston is survived by his former wife, Annie Winston; children, Tony Winston (Sandra), Ouida Winston, Morris Wilburn and Erika Smith; sister, Bessie Edmondson; brother, Clarence Todd (Liz); grandchildren, Demetrius Winston (Shakena), Eric Winston (Dana), Cordarro Harris, Travis Williams, Diamond Wilburn and Markevious Wilburn; loving niece, Voncile Kalpen; 6 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Graveside memorial services will be 10am Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky, with military honors. To leave a special message for the family, use the "Share Memories" button above.
