Bob Morgan, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly from post-surgical complications on Sunday, September 27, 2020.
He was born on February 3, 1938 in Twila, Kentucky to the late Norman and Ruby (Osborne) Morgan.
Bob was a proud veteran having served in both the Army and the National Guard. He spoke fondly of the time he spent stationed in Germany. In 2019 he retired after spending 20 years with Halmar Corporation as a sales representative. During his time with Halmar, he developed many friendships with his colleagues and clients. He was avid fan of both the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky rarely missing a football or basketball game. He was quick to complement a good meal or job well-done. He had a special bond with his devoted canine, Reggie.Bob worked the crossword daily, often with Reggie sitting in his lap. The two had a regular evening appointment for a walk around the neighborhood. Bob enjoyed a good steak, old movies, music, and spending time with family and friends. Bob was intelligent and great at conversation. He was warm, generous and gave great hugs. At the end, he was fortunate to be surrounded by family. He is deeply missed.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Jane Morgan, children; Michael Morgan (Debbie), Kevin Morgan (Traci), Gina Lankswert (Pat), Janet Spencer (Jeff), grandchildren; Michael Morgan (Amie), Danny Morgan (Renee Strange), Trevor Morgan (Alexxis), Kathryn Morgan, Kristen Morgan, Hannah Lankswert, Nick Lankswert, Lauren Spencer and Addie Spencer.
