Billy Jerome Zink

Billy J. Zink , 68, of Lanesville, Indiana, passed away on May 31, 2017. He retired from Kroger as a truck driver and was a member of Local Teamsters Union #89. Billy enjoyed camping, loved collecting antique cars, and loved spending time with his family.

Billy was born on March 24, 1949, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Bernard and Dortha (Setser) Zink. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Donna Lee Zink.

Billy is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mrs. Norma Jean (Shaw) Zink; children, Alan Jerome Smith (Deborah), Kimberly Ann Zink, and Paula Uhl (Tom); brothers, Ronald L. Zink (Sue Ann) and Kevin D. Zink (Kim); and 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his Funeral Ceremony being held at 6:00 p.m. Cremation will follow according to Billy's wishes.
