Billy Ray Poole, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 4, 2017. He was self employed and retired in sales. Billy enjoyed playing golf with his brothers. He was an active member of Southeast Christian Church where he met his wife Janet.

Bill was born on December 10, 1934 in Shelbyville, Kentucky to the late Hayes Rawlings Poole and Mayme (Abrams) Poole .

Bill is survived by his wife Janet Poole, daughters Tina Poole, Cyndy Ashby, son Mark Poole, brothers Jack and Bob Poole. He is also survived by a host of extended family, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243).

His funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
