Billy Joe Pierce

Billy Joe Pierce, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Billy graduated from PRP in 1977 where he played on the Football Team and was a member of the PRP Marching Band. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed spending time with his Niece and Nephews and considered them his own children. Billy loved the band "Kiss". He worked for Dynacraft where he enjoyed his work and the friendships he made with his coworkers. He was a kind and gentle person who never met a stranger.

He was born on January 8, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Winnie (Sego) Pierce. He is preceded in death by his Parents and Grandparents.

Billy is survived by his Brother, Jimmy Pierce, Sister, Marsha (Mark, Sr.) Abell, Brother, Kevin Pierce, Niece, Alisa, Nephews, Mark (Whitney), and Dylan, Great-Nephew, Kolton. Billy also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Cousins, Friends, Work Family, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A Catholic Prayer Service will be at 6:00 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel. Burial will be Private at the Peonia Catholic Chruch Cemetery, in Grayson County at a later date.
