Billie Jean Ritchie, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020.

Billie Jean was born on May 31, 1953 in Isonville, Kentucky to Floyd and Hazel Gilliam. She is preceded in death by her Father, Husband, Virgil Ritchie, Daughter, Wanda Lucy Ritchie, Brothers, Jamie Gilliam and Robert Gilliam, Sister, Charlotte Hartmann, Grandchild, Benjamin McCarty, and Great-Grandchild, Kolton McCarty.

Billie Jean is survived by her Mother, Hazel Gilliam, Daughters, Glenda Jean McCarty and Samantha Kay Samuels, Sister, Sherlene Williams, Grandchildren, Justin McCarty, Jonathon McCarty, Violet Samuels, Isaiah Samuels, Nicholas Samuels, Skylar Samuels, and Emma Grace Samuels, Great-Grandchildren, Gage Metzler, James Adams, Jada Winfrey, and Keegan McCarty.

A gathering for Billie Jean's family and friends will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of her life will be at 10:00 am on Friday, February 7, at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Stephen Cemetery in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky.
