Billie Jean (Clark) Omer

Billie Jean "B.A." (Clark) Omer, 88, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the Autumn Woods Health Campus. She was a proud homemaker and wife of 48 years to the late Ret. Captain Richard L. Omer, USN.

Billie was born on July 10, 1929, to the late Ross L. and Mary Jeannette (Hansard) Clark. Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Lillian Lindsey, Ann Mason, Margaret "Bea" Bradford, Alta Street, Evelyn Hill, Della Risico, and Patricia Heatherly.

Billie is survived by her brother, Ralph Clark; sister, Madelyn Hodum; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Newcomer-Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens-West in Louisville, Kentucky.
