Billie Jean LaFever, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 22, 2018. She retired from Stewarts Dry Goods and was a member of Auburndale Church of Christ.

Billie was born on March 2, 1932, Dechard, Tennessee to the late Harry and Emma Snell. She was also preceded in death by her Husband, John LaFever and Granddaughter, Billie Buckholz.

Billie is survived by her Daughter, Leshaun Wilson (Thomas), Granddaughter, Donna Kidwell, Grandson, Richard Buckholz, greatgrandchildren, Zachary Smith, Alexander Kidwell, Isabella Kidwell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A Celebration of her life will be held Monday April 30, at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.
