Billie Ann Butterfield, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Albany, Indiana on July 7, 1937 to the late Leonard Reardon Sr. and Alma Hublard Reardon Hubbard. She retired from the Jefferson County Public School System. She was an avid reader and loved her family dearly.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Reardon Jr., her step-father, Paul Hubbard and a grandson, Derek Hart.
Billie is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Donald Bruce Butterfield; children, Sherry Thomas, Tina (Terry) Gibson and Donna (Todd) Carrico; grandchildren, Jeffry Thomas (Britt), A.J. Thomas, Matt Gibson, Samantha Harvey (Chris), Jon Gibson, Sabrina Adams (Jim), Chelyn Lynch, Brandyn Magers; great grandchildren, Cayde Harvey, Casey Harvey with Hadley Harvey on the way; siblings, Dortha Bowers, LaVerne Perkins, Steve Reardon, Mike Hubbard; and a host of nieces and nephews and other extended family members and friends.
A gathering to celebrate Billie's Life will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Hosparus.
