Bill Gravely

Bill Gravely, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020. Bill was a volunteer for Actors Theater for 30 years and Kentucky Center of the Arts for 15 years. Bill graduated from Manual High School in 1954. He attended 71 consecutive Male vs Manual Football Games. In his spare time Bill enjoyed photography, traveling, and taking the scenic route. Bill created Floral Arrangements which won several Blue Ribbons at the Kentucky State Fair.

He was born on May 31, 1936 in Brodhead, Kentucky to David and Virginia (Robins) Gravely. He is preceded in death by his Parents, and Sister, Sharon VanArsdale.

Bill is survived by his loving Wife of 61 Years, Vieta Gravely, Daughter, Rene' (Mike) Henson, Son, Jon (Angie) Gravely, Grandchildren, Ashley (Dane) Boeglin, Allison Henson, Matthew (Megan) Gravely, and Madison Gravely, Great-Grandchildren, Payton Gravely, and Kayden Gravely, Brother, Gervis Gravely. Bill also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be held on July 18, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Newcomer, Cremation, Funerals, and Receptions- Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 pm on July 18, 2020 at Newcomer, Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions- Southwest Chapel.
