Beverly A. "Nanny" Kendrick, 76 of Louisville, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025. She was beloved of everyone who knew her. She was the matriarch of the Kendrick family and the glue that kept everyone together. Her demeanor was quiet and gentle, but she would put her foot down if you crossed the line. Beverly was a long time member of the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research (IDMR) and she loved to sew, fish, play BINGO and frequent yard sales to look for bargains; she was a pro at it too. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was born on January 21, 1949, in Barberton, OH, to Elizabeth Gregory and James Morris. She was preceded in death by both her parents; husband Layne Kendrick and her siblings, Earnest Gregory, Phyllis Bibby, Thomas Henderson, Gary Henderson and Rosemary Mitchem.
Beverly is survived by her two daughters, Linnet (Robert) Arnold and Felicia (Earl) Lewis; grandchildren, Lamar Kendrick, Glenn Hill, Jr, Ty'Rayle Hill, Ty'Licia Hill, Brandon Hill, Byron Hill and Brenaye Hill; great-grandchildren, Blaze McQueen Kendrick and Amiri Hill; siblings, Joann (Jonathan Burton) Foster, Sherlyn (Ron) Young and Ronald Henderson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
