Beverly Fay Higgins, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026. Beverly was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and NiNi to her beloved grandchildren. She and her high school sweetheart, Robert, created a family that she cherished. Beverly took great pride in hosting family gatherings, Sunday dinners, and being the family matriarch. She was the prime example of the family core, so much so that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren never once doubted her love for them. Beverly's faith was the cornerstone of her life and she was most recently affiliated with St. Gabriel the Archangel. She and Robert had a passion for line dancing and being the true snowbirds they were, they spent their summers in Lake Cumberland and their winters in Fort Myers. Most importantly, Beverly's family were her pride and joy, and she cherished the everlasting memories made with them. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She was born on October 9, 1938 in Louisville, Kentucky to Merle and Juanita (Cook) Vance. She is preceded in death by her father, Merle C. Vance; mother, Juanita Vance; husband, Robert James Higgins, Sr.; sister, Sue Coddington; and her grandson, Vance Knight.
Beverly is survived by her loving family, daughter, Vicki and her husband, Buddy; daughter, Terri and her husband, Michael; son, Robert, Jr. and his wife Monica; grandchildren, Dana & Jason, Aaron, Gala & Anthony, Shannon & Daniel, Nolan, Angela & Dana, Eric & Erica; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Brayden, Cambryn, Shaelyn, Jayna, Rylee, Mallory, Chase, Carter; canine companion, Boogie; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
