Listen to Obituary

Beverley S. Rinker, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, in Seymour, Indiana at the age of 62. Born on February 15, 1964, in New Albany, Indiana, she lived a life marked by warmth, devotion, and a joyful spirit.

Beverley’s foundation was shaped by her close-knit family and precious childhood moments spent with her grandparents. Time spent fishing alongside her grandpa, attending church on Sundays, and gathering for Sunday dinners were hallmarks of her youth. These experiences nurtured her love of family and community, values she carried close to her heart throughout her life.

A dedicated professional, Beverley worked for many years as a legal secretary at a law firm. She was respected by her colleagues for her unwavering commitment, cheerful demeanor, and keen organizational skills. Her professionalism and friendly presence brightened the workplace for all who had the privilege to work with her.

Those who knew Beverley will remember her zest for life and her vibrant interests. She was an avid NASCAR fan, holding a special love for Tony Stewart. Country music often filled her home, and she found immense joy in dancing and sharing laughs with her friends. Beverley had a deep love for horses and cherished every opportunity to go horseback riding, earning her a reputation as an “animal whisperer” among those who witnessed her calming connection with animals. Music was a special part of her life—listening to her brothers Chuck and Kevin perform with their band brought her pride and happiness.

Family was Beverley’s true north. Her love and dedication to her sons, William (Heather) Rinker and Waylon Rinker, were unwavering. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren, Dillian (Hana) Rinker, Jaydian (Kristina) Rinker, Isabella Rinker, Savanna Rinker, and Alexius Rinker and great grandchildren Renesmae and Realynn Rinker. The quality time they shared—filled with laughter, stories, and unconditional support—was her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment.

Beverley’s spirit lives on in those who survive her: her beloved sons, William (Heather) and Waylon Rinker; her cherished grandchildren, Dillian (Hana) Rinker, Jaydian (Kristina) Rinker, Isabella Rinker, Savanna Rinker, and Alexius Rinker; great grandchildren, Renesmae and Realynn Rinker; her caring sisters, Shaun Muth and Jennifer Nall; her devoted brothers, Chuck, Kevin, and Matt Hays; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret J. and Charlie Hays; father, John Thomas Wells, Jr.; and her brother, William Wells.
