Whelan, Beulah Lee, 89, of West Point, Kentucky passed away on May 10, 2015.
Beulah was born on September 2, 1925, in Hardin County, Kentucky to the late William and Rener Barnes. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles Barnes, William Barnes, and two sisters, Della Hayen, and Bernice Thomas.
She is survived by her son, Robert Whelan; sisters, Aliene Kessler, and Dorothy Wheatley (Elmer); and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A funeral service to honor the life of Beulah will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
