Betty Jean Wayne, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

She was born on September 22, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Buck Wayne and Mary Mattingly Tyree. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Louise Stafford.

Betty is survived by her sister, Georgia Wayne; cousin, Becky Gore (Glen); niece, Tammy Gardner (Brian); nephews, Scott Wayne (Macy), Ronnie Wayne (Melissa), Eddy Meyers; her brother-in-law, Brian Stafford and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243), with a service to honor the life of Betty to follow at 12 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at St. Aloysius Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in Betty's memory be made to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
