Betty Marie Rusk

Betty Ebling Rusk passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the age of 93 in New Albany, Indiana.
On May 19, 1946, Perry Rusk, "Junie", the love of her life, came home from the Navy. Betty had baccalaureate services at NAHS that night, which she missed. On November 2, 1946, they got married and had 71 good years together before Junie passed away on February 2, 2018. They were very proud of their loving and caring family. Betty always referred to herself as an "Ole Stick In The Mud" and was happy being a wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma. She is preceded in death by parents, Bill and Marie Ebling, brother, Bill Ebling, Jr., son-in-law, Paul Minsterketter. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Rusk Minsterketter and her son Rick Rusk (Susie); brother, Robert Ebling three grandchildren, Traci, Michael, and Lindsay; and seven great grandchildren, Karli, Hali, Kim, Jacob, Hannah, Dillon, and Sophia.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
The family requests that contributions in Betty's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hosparus.
